Do you remember all of them?

Body Idioms are made by Turkish students
Food Idioms by Georgian students and Animal idioms by La Trama students!!!

COVID-19&IDIOMS WE LEARNT

And children designed these new posters with the idioms they had already worked! Click on it to make it bigger.

Then, it was a perfect moment to play with quizizz to check what they knew about the pandemic

After that, we needed to have penpals and we decided to write our descriptions on our own fingerprints. We were very happy to have eTwinning answers to children's letters. Turkish children celebrated Children's Day on April 23rd. That's the reason because they talk about that day. ;D  By the way, if you want to read them, tap on each image and they will become bigger.

Then, in a way to make a break, they were able to play kahoot, so that they could check their learnings. They had just to introduce their name and start playing from home. You do not need a pin!

After that, we wanted to celebrate May 9th as the Europe Day, and as a consequence eTwinning celebrated its day too. Because of that, children played a flag-memory-game . They had just to print two copies of each page and play.

When we finished idioms themes, we had worked around 5 themes: food, body, animals, health and nature. Then we designed a digital publication where children were able to read and enjoy all of them.

Publish at Calameo

After that, I encourage children read the Turkish publication and to play a board game

Also, if they wanted to choose different themes, here they had another board game. In this version, they had to decide the idiom themes. Then, they would have to draw their cards. After that, they would play rolling the dice and moving along the board according to the number. If they landed on orange/red/yellow grid, they would have to pick a card and say the idiom.

STUDENTS' EVALUATION: It's time for students to write some lines about the project.
