Once upon a time, the game

Hi everyone!
La Trama school has been enrolled in a new e-Twinning* project. "Once upon a time, the game" is a project where many countries are going to share with us different materials to play with them. The language that we will use, will be English due to the fact that all of us speak different languages.
To start with, here you have a link where you can read some information related to this project:
After that, children asked at home about games in the past.
The most important ones have been:

Once we know about games in the past, it is time to share some traditional games.
Sabadell is the city where we live and one of the most important traditional game at Christmas  is Quinto, a game that is similar to Bingo. However, it has its own rules. Here you have our publication. We shared in the eTwinning network so that the other countries can play whenever they want.
After having this information, we follow the research. Here you have it:

RESEARCH IN LA TRAMA SCHOOL:
What is our favourite game?
Here you have the results:

Due to the results, students want to know what is their favourite video game. Here you have another survey with conclusions:

As we see that new technologies engages a lot.  We design online games in a personal learning environment space, called Footprints for our European partners. Here you have them:
School garden
Food and drink
Do it and learn

Finally, we record some videos with different popular games so  that everybody knows traditional games from different countries. In this way, we are able to teach our partners how to play it. As a sample, here you have our Turkish partners playing "Bitlles catalanes".

After that, we compare some cultural traits and games from our partners:

CONCLUSION: Our favourite game is the "Game of five stones" from Italy. In this game the stones caught are worth points and the winner is the one who reaches the amount of points decided in advance or who ends the game without ever having missed catching the stone. Once the rock is thrown in the air and falls to the ground without being caught, it's the next player's turn.

We loved this project. We played a lot and we were able to learn and to fix vocabulary by preparing materials for our partners as well as improving language and pronunciation when we prepared our videos.
